Water sports in Benidorm out of season
Benidorm’s sea doesn’t close in August. Enjoy parasailing, the banana boat or a boat trip with no queues and the bay almost to yourself.
Benidorm on the sea, all year round
Benidorm has one of the mildest climates in Europe, and many visitors from the UK, the Netherlands and Germany come precisely in autumn, winter and spring. At that time the bay is calmer, there are fewer boats and the light is perfect to enjoy the skyline and Benidorm Island from the water.
At Carlos Water Sports we keep going out beyond July and August whenever the weather and sea conditions allow. In September and October the water is still warm after the summer, and in spring the long sunny days bring everyone back to the sea.
In the winter months we work on a pre-booking basis: send us a WhatsApp with the date and number of people and we will confirm your trip according to the forecast.
What to do on the sea in mid and low season
- Parasailing: a 12 to 15-minute flight with dry take-off and landing on the boat. Our star activity in mid season.
- Skippered boat trip: 1 to 4 hours for your group (up to 12 people) along the coast, Benidorm Island or Sierra Helada.
- Banana boat, flyfish and crazy sofa: ideal in September, October and from May, when the water is warmer.
- Jet skis: guided routes with an instructor and no licence needed with Carlos Jet Ski.

- Less waiting at the port and smaller groups.
- Calmer sea early in the day and soft light for photos.

Can you do water sports in Benidorm in winter?
Yes, whenever the weather and sea conditions allow. In winter we work on a pre-booking basis: message us and we will confirm your trip according to the forecast.
Which activity is best outside the summer?
Parasailing and the skippered boat trip are the most comfortable, as you don’t need to get into the water. In September, October and from May we also recommend the banana boat, flyfish and crazy sofa.
How much is parasailing in low season?
Prices are the same all year: €85 for one person, €75 per person for two, €65 per person for 3 to 5 people and €60 per person for groups of 6.
What happens if the weather is bad on the day?
Safety comes first. If sea conditions don’t allow us to go out, we will offer you another day or time.
